APSSB CHSL Result 2026

The Combined Higher Secondary Level Examination has reached its final stage. The Arunachal Pradesh Staff Selection Board has published the final result notice for CHSLE 2026, closing a process that moved from a provisional shortlist through a typing skill test and document verification to this final list. Candidates should read the word "final" carefully: the notice publishes the result, but every recommendation in it is provisional. A name in the main list means the Board has recommended that candidate for appointment on merit-cum-preference; it does not by itself create a right to appointment. What happens next sits outside the Board's hands. The Appointing Authority — the indenting or user department named against each entry — must still satisfy itself about the candidate's character and antecedents, the authenticity of documents and certificates, and eligibility under the Recruitment Rules before any appointment is made. Until that check is complete, no candidate should treat the recommendation as a posting order. The notice also carries wait lists arranged by post code and category, so candidates who do not find their roll number in the main list should check those sections before concluding anything. No joining date or reporting location is given in the notice; candidates must wait for separate communication from the concerned department and keep checking the APSSB website.
