CSJMU Teaching Recruitment 2026

Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University, Kanpur has issued an update to its teaching recruitment for 2026, and candidates who were waiting for clarity on the latest notices should read the main advertisement together with the two later notices. The original advertisement, dated 26 September 2026, invited online applications for Professor, Associate Professor and Assistant Professor posts across departments. Under that notice, the Hindi subject included one Professor post and one Associate Professor post, both in the unreserved category. The online application window opened on 26 September 2026 and will close on 31 October 2026, while the hard copy, sent by registered or speed post, must reach the Registrar within five days of the online closing date, by 5 November 2026. A corrigendum dated 21 October 2026 revised the Music subject posts, covering Gayan and Hindustani Sangeet, Vadya Sitar and Violin, Tabla and Rangmanch across the three levels, while other subjects remain unchanged. Applicants who no longer remain eligible because of that correction may seek a fee refund by email. A separate Hindi clarification dated 22 October 2026 confirms that candidates who already applied for Associate Professor or Professor in Hindi under the earlier January 2026 advertisement do not need to apply afresh; they can update their earlier application through the Samarth portal by 31 October 2026.
