Samagra Shiksha Manipur Recruitment — 742 Posts, Last Date Extended to 16 Oct 2026 (4 Categories Only)

This is the Samagra Shiksha Manipur 2024 recruitment extension — the original notification is dated 11 March 2024. The 2026 date refers only to the extension notice (1 October 2026) that pushed the last date to 16 October 2026. This is NOT a new Samagra Shiksha Manipur recruitment 2026, and it is NOT the separate 1,140 pre-primary teacher recruitment — the two must not be mixed up. The extension notice is numbered AO/742/REC/2024(3)-DE(S) and was issued by the Directorate of Education (S), Manipur. Candidates who are still treating this as a fresh 2026 vacancy should note the distinction: the posts, eligibility and fee all come from the original 11 March 2024 notification, while only the last date comes from the 1 October 2026 extension notice. Everything below follows those two documents, and anything not stated in them has been left out on purpose.

Only four categories are covered by the Samagra Shiksha Manipur application last date extension: Resource Person (CWSN) with 4 posts at a remuneration of Rs. 36,500/-, Special Graduate Teacher with 13 posts at Rs. 25,000/-, Hindi Graduate Teacher (listed as Hindi Teacher (Secondary) / Hindi Graduate Teacher) with 210 posts at Rs. 30,000/-, and Hindi Primary Teacher (listed as Hindi Teacher (Elementary) / Hindi Primary Teacher) with 118 posts at Rs. 30,000/-. Together these four categories total 345 posts (4 + 13 + 210 + 118 = 345). The original recruitment covered 742 contract posts in total, so the extension covers only 345 of the 742. The 3 Office Assistant posts under the Directorate of Institutional Finance, Manipur, are NOT covered by this extension, and no other category is covered. Candidates must confirm their own category against the official extension notice before applying.

Employment Exchange sponsorship is required: only candidates sponsored by the concerned Employment Exchange and fulfilling eligibility as on 11/03/2024 are eligible (original notification, paras 2-3); unsponsored candidates are not covered. The extension notice also carries a relaxation: candidates who had acquired OR were in the final year / final semester of B.Ed. / D.El.Ed. / B.Ed. (Special Education) / D.El.Ed. (Special Education) as on 11.03.2024 and who complete the course by 31.10.2026 are eligible, on condition they produce proof of the completed course at the time of acceptance of offer of appointment. Eligibility is therefore judged as on 11/03/2024, while course completion is allowed up to 31.10.2026 for candidates in their final year or final semester as on 11.03.2024. Candidates relying on this relaxation should keep the proof of the completed course ready.

The application fee comes from the original notification, para 9: Rs. 500/- for General and OBC candidates, Rs. 300/- for SC and ST candidates, and PWD candidates are exempted. The extension notice does not restate the fee. The age limit is 18-38 years as on 11/03/2024, relaxable for SC/ST/OBC, government servants, etc., as per Manipur rules; no specific relaxation years are stated, so none are given here. Selection is by written test only (original notification, para 8). The Office Assistant exception stated there is NOT covered by this extension.
